As a former Dean of Education at Cheyney University, Cheyney, PA and Claflin University, Orangeburg, South Carolina, with over 20 years of experience in leadership, education, training, and development, I have seen and solved numerous problems and challenges facing teacher education, teacher quality, and student achievement.

As Dean of Education, I have increased the pass rate on Praxis I from 17% to 100% and from 10% to 300% in one year. I have also developed curriculum to improve teacher quality and increase student achievement in mathematics and science at the elementary and middle school levels through funding of over 3.5 million dollars. I hold certification in early childhood, elementary, and middle school education with certification as a principal and superintendent.
